the beginning

THE FIRST BLOG!!! OH the excitement.

Well today started off pretty good i was able to get to the gym nice and early, (9:30) is pretty early to be working out but i'm trying to be consistent with it. after i finished up working out i got home at some foods because i was starving, and then got on some tables and for the first sessions i managed to lose a cool $1600. so i took a break and hit up the golf course with some friends (i did horrible as expected, but i am determined to get good at that game). Then i got back home and put in another little session and i think i won about $600 back so i wasnt in to bad of shape.

So i stopped playing for a bit and hung out with a friend and we watched some of the playoff games(which are kind of pointless because the lake show is taking it for sure). So while my friends was here i decided it was time to pop up some tables and start to try and get into the green for the day...well i failed and i got down $2400 for the day. but i was able to make a strong recovery as one of my poker buds wanted to sweat and i was able to get into some good spots and bring it back so i was up a cool $300 for the day.

here the villain had been fairly aggro in our blind battles so i decided to throw a little back at him...he shove on the turn was a pretty easy because i think he has air a lot here and as you can see i beat that and if he does show up with an over pair i do have pretty good equity with 14 outs

the villains play here was pretty atrocious he is never ahead of anything that calls and he is really banking on me folding out all my air

here was a spot against a nit where i really thought he had 22 but i just can not find a fold here...just a sick cooler for me when the money goes in but lucky i find one of those 4 outs

the bet sizing here by this player just tells me that he has a draw and is just looking to ship the money in...so its a pretty easy shove

alright so thats about it for the first blog...hopefully i can get some reading in before i go to sleep...i want to try to read the bible from front to back...something i have never really done before even though ive read a lot of it in my lifetime...
