No Play Today

Well today was a long day. It started off waking up early to get over to school and i did the whole school thing till 1ish and then had to run to Steed Alignment to get my breaks fixed because they were squeakin like crazy.
So my bro picks me up from there and we head over to micro center and buy my new computer. Its pretty sick its HP like my monitor and also run smoothly and quickly which is really all i wanted.
Basically after i picked up my car all i did was work on my computer getting all the programs i need on it...such as: PT3, Skype, Mikogo, and some other stuff with music and what not.
Well the time has come and im going to be going to vegas for 3 days and i meeting up with a few guys that i have met online and also my group members. Im hoping its a fun time and we can get some golfin in and also some poker sweats and what not. So that should be way sick and hopefully somewhat educational but not to much.

5/10 is Big Monies

So this past Saturday was my biggest day at $5700 (forgot to mention that in my last post). Well now today i had my new biggest day ever at $7100. I played just over 1500 hands at 5/10 and and a little 2/4 but only 250 hands i think. So over my last 2 sessions i've made about 13k in just about 3k hands, which is pretty sick if ya ask me. So obviously i pretty overjoyed by how this 5 buyin shot has gone at 5/10, i hope that this good run can last for awhile so i can become a regular at that limit. But even if i am a reg. i will still play 2/4 just so i can get some good tables in there because the 5/10 games aren't always that great.

Not a whole lot of interesting spots today i ran pretty good and didn't get into many sticky situations...so that makes for an easy day at the office.

Its Been Awhile

So its been some time since i posted something on here. Alot has gone on. Lately ive been playing a decent amount of golf with some friends. I really love playing that game. It is not like the other sports that i have played. I use to be a big basketball and track guy, but once i got out of high school both of those werent as much as a priority. So now i got golf and it is a lot more mental and if you get off track you can really blow it on the course. Not only that but you really have to work hard at it and maintain it else your game can really go south. I think the reason it fits so well is its a lot like poker. You must constantly be working on your game so that you stay ahead of your competition and when you slack in it your results will show.

Alright now for some poker. I was talking with a friend(Noel aka peten2toms) and he was telling me i should take a 5 buyin shot at 5/10 and i gave it some thought and decided to go with it. I figure since im only 20 and i dont have many bills it is the perfect time for me to be aggressive moving up. So ive taken my shot and its got pretty good. Im out 8k over 6400 hands at 5/10 6 max but there was a small problem. I decided to mix in some 3/6 for game selection (which was dumb because it is obviously rigged) and over the last 2 weeks ive played 1300 hands there and im down a cool 5k. Im not sure what it is about that limit but i can not book wins there to save my life. So i have decided to totally cut it out of my game and never play it again.
